my mom is in a severely abusive relationship. he beats her, threatens her, shakes her and forces her to do hard labor when she has two bad hips. my mom tried to leave and he beat her car in with a hammer. my father before him was verbally abusive and was our only source of income - he died last november. we’ve been struggling and ive been renting a room with my uncle(who has been saying he plans on moving and kicking me out, but wont give a date). his house is way too far out in the country for me to walk to a job and i dont have any friends or know anyone else in the area, so ive been unable to work. my current goal is to get a car so i can get a job, but ive been having to buy my own groceries, pay rent and pay my phone bill all with no job.
my mom is in debt and only has what little money she gets paid under the table from her abuser(he went through her money and stole most of it tonight). if she took a regular job the irs would take it all. she has to go back to him so she can work at his peanut stand(and do all the hard labor associated with it) and he steals her anti depressants, tells her to kill herself and worse.
i desperately need to get a job, i desperately need money because thats the only way i can help my mom. i had a goal to reach 1000 and i need about 300-400 more to get a car(and would still have to pay it off afterwards) but now i literally need anything i can get
im literally afraid hes going to kill her or something, shes currently on the phone with her friend crying saying she doesnt know what to do and shes scared. hes literally said “im a killer” to her, he does cocaine and xanax, hes a drunk and hes fucking evil.
please, i need literally any money yall can donate. this is the realest post ive ever made cause i feel like no one really gets how serious this situation is. please dont send me hate cause i really cant fucking handle it right now, yes ive tried for financial assistance but the process is long and i was already declined once.
y’know, now that homestuck is relevant again, i think we as a fandom can really take things we’ve learned in the past few years and put them to use in the context of old issues from back in the day. i think there’s a lot of important concepts and ideas that come from newer fandoms that can solve age-old debates about aspects of homestuck.
